Hearty Breakfast: Quinoa Bowl Edition

Start your day with a breakfast bowl that is equally filling and tasty!


  • 1/2 cup cooked Quinoa (or Millet)

  • 2 Pasture Raised Eggs

  • 1/2-1 Avocado

  • 1/2 diced large Tomato

  • Hot Sauce (we often use Sriracha)

  • Optional: handful of cooked Spinach


  • If your quinoa is not yet cooked, follow directions on packaging to cook desired amount

  • In a pan, add olive oil or butter & scramble eggs, making sure to season appropriately with salt & pepper

  • Add quinoa as the base of the bowl

  • Top the quinoa with eggs with diced tomato and avocado

  • You can also prepare cooked spinach, if desired

  • Add hot sauce to liking


  • We like to make the quinoa in bulk to use throughout the week

  • Add a little Everything But The Bagel Seasoning to spice it up!

  • We often use Sriracha as our hot sauce of choice
