This dairy free pesto hits the spot, but you can go ahead and add parmesan, if you must!
1-2 c Fresh Basil
1/2 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Juice from 1 Lemon
1 Clove of Garlic
1/2 c Pine Nuts or Hemp Seeds
1/4 c Nutritional Yeast (or Parmesan Cheese)
Optional: Red Pepper Flakes
Combine ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor and mix until creamy.
Enjoy with your favorite pasta or veggies!
